A Big 'Ole Box of Useless Toys!
My kids (age 3 and 6) have WAY too many toys. When the wading depth exceeds 18 inches, or one kid turns up missing, I conduct a mass purge.

This results in a Big 'Ole Box of Toys, which sits in our garage taking up valuable vehicle door-opening space, until my husband threatened divorce if I don't get rid of the darn thing before he is forced to enter and exit his car through the sunroof. (This could be really bad, because he doesn't actually HAVE a sunroof.)

These toys are USED, and most have been stepped on at least once. Some are broken. And YOU could WIN the WHOLE STINKIN' BOX!

I am a frequent visitor to your website and always enjoy your essays. I  have two boys, aged 3 and 1, who also have way too many toys. I am thinking  that perhaps if I win YOUR box of toys, I might possibly find some of the pieces that are missing from MY kids toys and render them usable (or at least good enough to sell in a yard sale). Plus, there is always the mystical power of  other kids toys" that may can keep the boys entertained  for at least 15 minutes (maybe I can get a shower in).
